After a private civil ceremony in the judge’s chambers at Lafayette Square, the couple hosted friends and family for a champagne-filled evening in the grandest of Washington settings. Known for entertaining at their Chinatown residence, Rachel and Jared were drawn to the Beaux-Arts interiors of the Perry Belmont House, a historic space that has long been synonymous with society-season splendor.
Every detail of their wedding reflected a passion for art, civility, and romance. The florals, inspired by Dutch still life paintings, bloomed in deep jewel tones and were paired with velvet textures and flickers of gold.
The reception unfolded as a gilded-age banquet, underscored by the sounds of The Eric Felten Jazz Orchestra. Guests dined, danced, and toasted in celebration of a love ten years in the making.
It was an evening that honored not only the couple’s history but the timeless beauty of intentional design and spirited hospitality – a wedding that felt both classic and iconic, from start to champagne-finish.
