Where My Eye for Story Began

In my family, photography isn’t just a passion, it’s a legacy. The Bauer family’s call-to-action, if you will.

My love for this craft is heavily inspired by my father, an award winning nature photographer, who has documented both the ecological diversity of Latin America for over 40 years and our day-to-day lives. His work taught me that photography isn’t just about seeing, it’s also about remembering.

I believe photographs are among the most powerful storytellers we have; images of our past and present are deeply important documentarian. They preserve the landscapes that shift with time and the faces we hold close. Whether it’s the breathtaking expanse of a national rainforest or the unmistakable joy in your grandmother’s smile on your wedding day, these are the moments that shape our histories—and once they pass, they’re gone.

That’s why I care so deeply about what I do. I’m not only invested in capturing beautifully composed portraits, the ones you’ll frame in your home or pass down through generations, but also in the fleeting, unscripted moments. The ones you didn’t know you’d want to remember: a sudden burst of laughter, a quiet tear, the way your best friend pulled you onto the dance floor.

Every guest, every glance, every emotion matters. Your wedding is a living history, and it deserves to be documented with intention, artistry, and heart.
